Huff, Puff, and Carl are a trio of little anthropomorphic wolf brothers, owners of a construction firm situated in Battleon, and rivals of the Big Bad Boar.
Their Tale[]
Since founding the 3 Little Wolves Construction Co. the brothers have over time built themselves a good reputation in the housing industry, with sturdy and economical homes for a plethora of clients. Recently, though, as they tried to expand onto Greenguard, their business has been suffering from attacks by the Big Bad Boar and his own corporation.
The Business War[]
Hearing of the bad reputation wolves have in and around Greenguard, the 3 Little Wolves decided to leave the comfort of Battleon to expand their business into the wider area, hoping that people will see wolves in a better light. Unfortunately, the Big Bad Boar already established a monopoly in the forest, and was not above sabotaging the competition to stay at the top of the hutting business. That way he could continue to build cheap, worthless, shoddy huts with no one to rival.
That is when the wolf trio hired the help of the Hero, who helped by first beating up the Slimes hired by the Big Bad Boar and taking their contracts.[1]
Later, when Frogzards stole the blueprints of their newest economy homes on orders of their rival, the 3 Little Wolves hired the Hero to take them down and get the blueprints back.[2]
And one final time the wolves hired the Hero's help. When the Big Bad Boar decided to take matters into his own hooves and stole their latest shipment of bricks himself, the Hero was asked to take the bricks back, but the Boar would not hand them over without a fight. After that the Big Bad Boar no longer bothered the brothers.[3]
At Centaur 21[]
After the business war with the Big Bad Boar was over, the brothers improved their craftsmanship, now claiming that no enemy can tear their houses down. They offer the Hero special houses to buy, but Puff thought it'd be a good idea to store the blueprints in their "natural habitats", leading the Hero on a journey around Lore to get them.[4]
Trivia[]
- Some of the materials used by the brothers are paint, wooden planks from Treeants, Rhison glue, nails, river stones, boulders, marble, flames, fabric, glass and bricks.[5]
- Carl is the leader of the trio, and likes to rest just outside of Centaur 21, looking at Battleon's streets.[6]
- Puff seems to be the more dull of the trio. He decided on his own to spread the special houses' blueprints around the continent and finds bad jokes overly funny. "What's red and smells like blue paint? RED PAINT! Hah! That one always kills Puff."-Carl
