Phlegnn is a monster in AdventureQuest Worlds.
History[]
Phlegnn is a slime dragon who is the Slime Dragon of Sloth and one of the 7 Deadly Dragons.
Near the town of Gisunt Heights, Phlegnn came down with something contagious and is soaking in the hot spring outside of Gisunt Heights. As he is soaking in the hot springs that is the water supply of Gisunt Heights, those who come in contact with the water turned into Plague Zombies. In addition to the Plague Zombies that Phlegnn unknowingly created, Gisunt Heights also became infested with Snotgoblins and Wandering Plagues. Lim had to oversee the quarantine of Gisunt Heights.
The players and Galanoth work to help Lim fight the plague in Gisunt Heights by testing each version of the cure following the victory over Glutus, Valsarian, and Goregold. Once the cure is complete, the players and Galanoth confront Phlegnn who doesn't want to fight them as he is sick. When the players try to reason with Phlegnn to get out of the hot spring, Phlegnn states that he is not getting out and that the villagers getting sick is not his problem. The players then use the antibiotic spray that Lim made on Phlegnn which stings Phlegnn. This ends up goading Phlegnn into attacking. Upon defeating Phlegnn, the players use the antibiotic spray on him which causes Phlegnn to have a golden non-infected appearance. As Phlegnn states that he told him that the antibiotic spray stings and goes on the attack, the players and Galanoth fight him again. After besting Phlegnn's cured state, the players and Galanoth see that Phlegnn is starting to get slimy and is regressing back to his slimy state. Galanoth then confirm's Lim's theory that Phlegnn is a plague dragon. Upon being struck by the players' antibiotic spray and Galanoth's sword, Phlegnn exploded.
