Jaaku is a monster in AdventureQuest Worlds.
History[]
Jaaku is an armored shogun with shadow abilities that lives on Yokai Island works as a general for the Queen of Monsters. He and his army tainted the local Yokai and waged war against the forces of Emperor Daisho. During the fight between Jaaku's army of Shadow Samurai and Emperor Daisho's forces, the players fought Orochi. Despite the player beating it, Orochi still did an attack that killed Emperor Daisho and made off with Jaaku as Princess Ai No Miko tried to attack it.
Back at his lair, Jaaku focused on healing Orochi so that it can be ready for the next battle.
When the players and Princess Ai No Miko raid the Shadow Fortress to confront Jaaku, they are assisted by the 8th Head of Orochi who was fighting Jaaku's control as Princess Ai No Miko's light set it free. The players had to defeat the other 7 heads, the Creeping Shadows, the Living Shadows, the Restless Spirits, and the Shadow Samurai before confronting Jaaku. When the players defeat Jaaku, he finds the Queen of Monsters not responsing to his plea for help. Figuring out that the Queen of Monsters has forsaken him, Jaaku committed suicide.
When the players were sent back in time to help the Heroes of Balance, they had to help Kitsune's ancestor on Yokai Island claim the Wind Orb from Jaaku.
