Horothotep is a monster in AdventureQuest Worlds.
History[]
Horothotep is one of the children of the Queen of Monsters. He is known as the "Devourer" because he can eat anyone and anything.
At the time when the players were brought back in time to help the Heroes of Balance, Krellenos' ancestor was captured while taking the place of Khasaanda's ancestor and was brought to the Queen of Monsters alongside Discordia's ancestor as the Queen of Monsters informed Horothotep and Kolyaban that the players have slain Extriki, Grou'luu, and Sa-Laatan. Krellenos was devoured by Horothotep while Kolyaban turned Discordia into a Hive. The players had to fight Horothotep when he ate the Light Orb following the players' victory over Sek-Duat I. They managed to slay Horothotep and claim the Light Orb. Tibicenas' ancestor states that he has placed his sphinx at the entrance to the pyramid so that the Queen of Monsters can't have Horothotep's body retrieved and revived.
