Astranax[1], better known as Bloodtooth the Hungry, is the red dragon protector of Swordhaven who died in service of Princess Tara.
Story[]
For years Bloodtooth served the kingdom of Oaklore and became a friend of its people and the royal family of the Alteons. In these years he has helped save the land several times.
Flying over Battleon
Not long after Princess Tara obtained a magical ring from a blue moglin named Zorbak, she used it to control the mind of Astranax, but Tara herself was also under mind control of the spirit of the ancient[2] Gorgok the Green Dragon. And so under indirect control of Gorgok, Bloodtooth went berserk over the lands until being felled by the Hero and crashed onto the mountains where he presumably died, leaving Swordhaven and its people with the loss of a great ally.
Trivia[]
- Bloodtooth received the name from humans because he likes to floss and has sensitive gums. He's not evil.
- In the Breakstone map, Astranax was replaced with a Dread Dragon.
